Welcome to PrettyPaid Studios ("we," "our," "us"). By placing an order, purchasing a package, or using our video editing services, you ("Client," "you," "your") agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Services & Deliverables

PrettyPaid Studios provides professional video editing, style-matching, and content consulting services. The specific deliverables of your project will be outlined in your order selection or invoice (e.g., your Test Order breakdown of custom video lengths).

2. Payment & Refund Policy

Because video editing is a customized digital service requiring dedicated labor and scheduling, we enforce a strict refund policy to protect our team's time and resources.

  • All Sales Are Final: All payments made to PrettyPaid Studios—including test orders, package purchases, and retainer deposits—are non-refundable.

  • The "No-Waste" Credit Guarantee: If you do not use your entire package or test order budget (e.g., your $250 test order credit) in a single transaction, the remaining balance will be kept on file as a store credit. This credit can be applied toward future services with us for up to five (5) years from the date of purchase.

  • No Cash/Card Refunds: Under no circumstances will unused credits be refunded back to your original payment method.

3. Raw Footage Guidelines & Extra Charges

To keep our pricing fair and transparent, our rates are calculated based on the length of the raw footage provided.

  • Standard Included Footage: A standard editing credit covers up to 10 minutes or less of raw footage.

  • Raw Footage Upcharges: Any raw footage submitted that exceeds 10 minutes will incur an additional fee of $10 USD for every additional 10 minutes of footage provided.

    • Example: Submitting 11 to 20 minutes of raw footage will incur a $10 upcharge.

    • Example: Submitting 21 to 30 minutes of raw footage will incur a $20 upcharge.

  • These upcharges must be settled before the final edited videos are delivered.

4. Turnaround Times & Rush Rates

We take pride in our reliable delivery times. However, last-minute requests require us to adjust our team’s schedule and prioritize your project.

  • Standard Turnaround: Our standard turnaround time is one (1) week (7 business days) from the day we receive all of your raw footage and editing brief.

  • Rush Orders (100% Surcharge): If you require your completed videos in under 7 business days, a 100% rush fee will be added to your project total.

  • Weekend Rush Editing: Any project requiring editing work on Saturdays or Sundays (for example, sending footage on a Friday and requiring delivery by Sunday or Monday) is automatically classified as a rush order and is subject to the 100% rush surcharge.

5. Revisions

  • Included Revisions: Unless otherwise stated in your package, all orders include one (1) round of minor revisions (e.g., text corrections, clip swaps, or minor music adjustments).

  • Revision Window: Revision requests must be submitted within 72 hours of receiving your draft. If no revisions are requested within this period, the project will be marked as complete and approved.

  • Out-of-Scope Revisions: Major style changes, re-shooting/re-sending entirely new raw footage, or requests submitted after the 72-hour window will incur additional editing fees.

6. Intellectual Property & Portfolio Rights

  • Client Ownership: Upon receipt of full payment, you own the full intellectual property rights to the final edited videos delivered to you. You retain ownership of your raw footage.

  • Agency Promotion Rights: PrettyPaid Studios reserves the right to use snippets of your raw footage and/or the final edited videos in our portfolio, website, social media, and promotional materials to showcase our work, unless a separate non-disclosure agreement (NDA) has been agreed upon and signed prior to the project's start.

7. Limitation of Liability

PrettyPaid Studios edits content based on the raw materials and instructions provided by the Client.

  • We are not liable for any copyright strikes, community guideline violations, account bans, or legal issues resulting from the music, sound effects, or visual assets used in your videos (especially if requested specifically by the Client).

  • We are not responsible for any loss of revenue, brand partnership cancellations, or low video performance. While we design videos for maximum retention, social media algorithm performance is never guaranteed.

8. Agreement Modifications

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The version of the Terms in place at the time of your payment will govern that specific transaction.
